Yes - sure. You can copy all things to NIRD as they are in /proj/nlpl/data/OPUS
There is also a file /proj/nlpl/data/OPUS/statistics.md with some updated counts after re-structering.
As you can see, the core of OPUS fits in much smaller partitions (the releases in XML). The number of files also went down dramatically as I now have zip files - one per language and one per language pair (and then different kind of versions of those).
I hope this all makes syncing and copying easier and more efficient.
I removed the indexed files for CWB from the NLPL directory and store that elsewhere (/proj/OPUS). I guess that there is no need for CWB-based search for NLPL-users, right? That is mainly for the website in the end and not many do that from the command-line anyway.
We can also discuss that more during the Friday meeting if necessary.
All the best,
Jörg

colleagues,
we are not nearly accumulating data at the pace we had once projected; see below. i have thus asked for a reduced allocation of 50 terabytes on NIRD for 2019.
joerg, should i turn on mirroring of the OPUS installation on Taito to NIRD, just so there is a copy (in norway)?

Hi Stephan,
We are processing your Norstore (storage) application for the upcoming period
2018.2. You already have 60TB allocated on NIRD, out of which only 11TB is
used. For 2018.2 you are applying for 150TB in total. We would like to ask you
to update your needs and let us know how much you actually want to apply for.
Best regards,
Joanna Szalas
