dear colleagues,
just fyi: the NLPL wiki has been unavailable since mid-day on wednesday,
when the machine hosting it was taken down to replace a failed drive.
for reasons somewhat mysterious to me, USIT and Dell support have found
themselves in a tangle with the RAID controller ever since, see below.
fingers crossed that we will see the machine and wiki back on-line during
the day today!

Hi,
I am working with Dell right now to get the machine online again.
We had some issues when adding the new drives, so we need to recover the
SATA RAID. First we will try a FW upgrade on the disks to see if that
solves the issue. We didn't know this would happen, so I am sorry for
the inconvenience.
I'll keep you posted.
