dear colleagues:

it is less than three days until the public presentation of the MRP
2020 shared task as the opening act of CoNLL this year, on thursday,
november 19, 10:45-12:45 UTC.

the shared task proceedings have been published through the ACL
Anthology in the meantime, and we have just posted the schedule for
our joint plenary session to the MRP web site:

http://localhost/mrp/index.php?page=16

as you will see, we will start with a joint plenary session (on zoom),
where we will present a thirty-minute live task overview and then
invite each team to give a three-minute ‘blitz’ summary of their
pre-recorded presentation (where it will be possible though not
required to use slides).

we will wrap up the plenary session with ample time for questions to
the presenters and discussion among the organizers, participants, and
audience. we hope to see many of you there (despite the early hour
for some colleagues)!

following this joint plenary session, there will be a half-hour
poster-like session on gather.town, where each team has been allocated
a ‘stand’ and will welcome visitors for more in-depth follow-up
questions and discussions.

we are excited (and a little relieved :-) to wrap up this second
instance of the MRP shared task series and much look forward to
getting together (if virtually) with participating teams and other
interested parties. please join us for the CoNLL 2020 kick-off this
thursday!

best wishes, oe (for the task co-organizers)
