We actually just had an infrastructure meeting today where we wondered how to migrate to the new system. In any case you can login to the new my.csc.fi portal and request that your present project on Taito be opened on Puhti. Before the SW/data stack is ported you will not benefit from /proj/nlpl, though.<br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div><br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div>Martin<br data-mce-bogus="1"></div><div><br></div><div data-marker="__SIG_PRE__">-- <br>Martin Matthiesen<br>CSC - Tieteen tietotekniikan keskus<br>CSC - IT Center for Science<br>PL 405, 02101 Espoo, Finland<br>+358 9 457 2376, martin.matthiesen@csc.fi<br>Public key : https://pgp.mit.edu/pks/lookup?op=get&search=0x74B12876FD890704<br>Fingerprint: AA25 6F56 5C9A 8B42 009F BA70 74B1 2876 FD89 0704</div><div><br></div><hr id="zwchr" data-marker="__DIVIDER__"><div data-marker="__HEADERS__"><blockquote style="border-left:2px solid #1010FF;margin-left:5px;padding-left:5px;color:#000;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"><b>From: </b>"Joakim Nivre" <joakim.nivre@lingfil.uu.se><br><b>To: </b>"Martin Matthiesen" <martin.matthiesen@csc.fi><br><b>Sent: </b>Tuesday, 3 September, 2019 18:13:03<br><b>Subject: </b>FW: [compute-server-users] Supercomputer Puhti is now available<br></blockquote></div><div data-marker="__QUOTED_TEXT__"><blockquote style="border-left:2px solid #1010FF;margin-left:5px;padding-left:5px;color:#000;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:12pt;">

CSCs new supercomputer Puhti is now available for researchers, as the first part of the CSC’s new computing and data management environment. This Atos BullSequana X400 system supports a wide range of workloads, including simulations, high-throughput workflows,
data analysis and deep learning. It contains 682 CPU nodes, and 80 GPU nodes. See

Taito and Sisu users are encouraged to prepare to move their workloads to Puhti, since Taito will be decommissioned by the end of the year. Puhti already includes a range of pre-installed software, and the list is being expanded, but some Taito software may
be missing at the moment. When Allas storage service is opened in September, support and documentation for migrating large amounts of data from Taito will be in place.
