i suggest we start some information gathering, i.e. who is operating
each of these clouds, what are the mechanisms to gain access, what are
intended usages and target groups?  could you try to see after such
information and add a few links and summary sentences to our wiki page
for this sub-task?

at the end of the day, we need to ask whether there is functionality
that we expect will be useful for our colleagues in the NLPL use case,
i.e. first and foremost for people like ourselves :-).
