Hi Stephan,
Thanks for your quick and positive reply. These are students who are doing their master's thesis this semester, so July 15 should be a reasonable end date for most of them. I will compile a list for you.
Best,
Joakim

yes, i would say the general situation is unchanged: uppsala
participates in the cross-border NLPL collaboration; oslo and helsinki
represent that user community in the EOSC-Nordic project, and both CSC
and Sigma2 have agreed that we can share allocations with our
collaborators.
in principle, we could discuss (in the now reduced NLPL steering
group) how we want to go about that sharing in 2020, e.g. whether MSc
students should primarily be serviced on Puhti or Saga. but seeing as
Saga has a profile relatively similar to Abel, and we have the account
creation and (some) monitoring routines in place ... i at least see no
immediate need to re-evaluate our allocation strategies just now.
is this for a class or for beginning MSc projects? either way, i
would suggest you point your students to the account request form for
Saga:
http://wiki.nlpl.eu/index.php/Infrastructure/resources
if for class usage, please ask them to request access until a suitable
end date (e.g. july 15, 2020); if they are setting out with MSc
projects, they should feel free to request access throughout this year
(december 31, 2020).
for me to process the incoming account requests, yes, i would be
grateful if you could provide me with a list of names.
best wishes! oe
