hi martin,

great, thanks for serving as our interface to the CSC project and user
database!  i believe i have adapted the scripts that update the
'users at nlpl.eu' once each night.  i suggest we use the file
'csc/projects.txt' to store the list of project identifiers that we
consider associated with NLPL, i.e. whose members will automatically
be added to the mailing list.  if you adapted your script to read that
list and then write to 'csc/users.txt', i believe that all changes
should propagate to the 'users' mailing list:

the 'cron.sh' script from the 'users' directory runs at 02:00 on
Puhti, so if you could arrange for your nightly updates to be applied
a little before that, there will be no delays in propagation to the
mailing list.

once you believe you have your side of this interface running
automatically, i have a new doctoral student at oslo, who i could ask
to request access to Puhti, so she could be our test case this coming
week :-).
