[NLPL Task Force (A)] software installations

dear all,

several of us are installing NLPL modules these days.  we have mostly
standardized on putting each package into ‘.../software/name/’ with its
module definition as ‘nlpl-name’.  but from last year, there are a few
vintage module definitions that lack the ‘nlpl-’ prefix.  can we harmonize
all modules in this round please?  it may actually just work to rename the
module definition directory, i imagine?
