maybe we can appoint someone today to take notes and then collect

division of labor: core libraries vs. NLPL-specific software
  e.g. DyNet

decision: all NLPL documentation on the wiki

start NLPL software catalogue

software name, version?, Availability, Owner

decision: project directory word-readable; Unix groups to control write
--> Unix group functions as list of software and data maintainers
by default, software installations need not be group-writable

decision: prepare list of software and data packages: estimate size

? need to discuss available space on Abel

copy installation guide to wiki

no duplication of documentation
